After three chaotic, colourful days in Marrakech, I got a wild idea: drive 800 miles across the country to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. That road trip took me far off the beaten path and deep into Morocco’s stunning, ever-changing landscapes, giving me a whole new appreciation for everything this country has to offer!
